03Behind the tiles

We photograph the work
before it gets covered up.

Tanking, falls to the drain, pipe runs, fixings behind the plasterboard: you can see all of it for about a week, then never again. We take pictures of that stage on every job and hand them over at the end, so you have a record of what you paid for.

05Who we work for

Private homes and
rented property.

The same crew does a single bathroom in a family house and a run of voids for a managing agent. What changes is the paperwork and the pace.

If you are a main contractor after a subcontractor who turns up, keeps the site tidy and finishes to programme, call and ask what we have free.

06How a job runs
  1. 01

    You call or send photos

Phone or WhatsApp. A couple of pictures and a postcode is usually enough for us to tell you whether it is a visit or a straight answer.

  2. 02

    We come and measure

We look at the actual room, not a description of it — access, services, what is behind the wall, what has to be moved.

  3. 03

    Written quote and sequence

An itemised price and the order the trades will run in, so you know what happens in which week and what you need to choose by when.

  4. 04

We build it and clear up

Photographs at first fix and before tiling, so the hidden work is on record. The site is left clean at the end of every day.

07Where we workWest & Central London

Ten minutes from
most of West London.

We are based in Notting Hill, which puts Kensington, Bayswater, Hammersmith, Chelsea and Fulham inside a short drive. That matters most on reactive work, when somebody has to be back on site the same afternoon.

08Questions we get asked

The things people ring up to ask.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

A range, yes. A written price, no — not until we have seen the room. Send a photo and your postcode on WhatsApp and we will tell you the ballpark and whether it needs a visit. The itemised quote follows the visit.

Do I need to book separate trades?

No. Plumbing, tiling, joinery, decorating and general building are held by us, and we bring in certified electricians for notifiable work. There is one programme and one firm responsible for the result.

Do you cover my postcode?

We are based in Notting Hill W11 and work across West and Central London: W2, W4, W5, W6, W8, W9, W10, W11, W12, SW1, SW3, SW6, SW10, NW6 and NW10. If you are just outside that, call anyway — for bigger contracts we travel further.

How do I know the work behind the walls was done properly?

We photograph the hidden stages on every job — tanking, first fix, falls to the drain, fixings — and hand the photographs over at the end, along with certificates for any notifiable electrical work.

What is the fastest way to get an answer?

WhatsApp 07777 125455 with two or three photographs and your postcode. That is usually enough for us to say whether it is a straight answer or a visit.
